On a Sunday morning in July of 2018, I was scrolling through a listing of meetups and came across one for a dance photography workshop. The idea for the workshop was that a group of ballet dancers and photographers would meet in Denver for an impromptu shoot, utilizing various locations in the downtown area. It would be held that afternoon. I immediately signed up, grabbed my camera, and headed downtown. What transpired was one of the most fun workshops I have ever participated in. I shot over 5,000 images, and you can see some of the best below. The workshop was coordinated by Ashleigh Wilson-Clarke, and along with Ashleigh featured Gabriella Rodriguez, Cornell Calendar, Sarah Tryon, Francisco Estevez, and Corina Kinnear. It was a groundbreaking experience for me as well.
